What we collect

• What you type into the flag form: a display name, a link, and an optional one line description. All three are shown publicly on the board. That is the point of the product.
• Your email, if you pay: collected by our payment processor and passed to us so we can contact you about your purchase or a refund.
• Counts, not profiles: we count page visits, how many people are on the page right now, and how many clicks each flag sends out.

How we handle IP addresses

We never store raw IP addresses. An IP is combined with a secret salt and hashed before it reaches our database, so what we keep is an opaque string we cannot reverse. We use it only to stop one person flooding the board and to avoid counting the same visitor twice. These records are deleted automatically.

Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as merchant of record. Card details are entered on their checkout and never touch our servers. We never see or store your card number.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses your browser's session storage once, to avoid double counting a page reload.

Your data

Email weaiteit@gmail.com to correct the details on your flag, or to have your email address deleted from our records. The public flag itself is permanent by design, which is what buyers are paying for, but we will remove the link and name on request.
